2nd Annual Hall Of Fame
The Oxnard College Athletic Alumni Association hosted its 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Banquet on May 26, 2023 at the Oxnard College Performing Arts Center Conference Room. Former athletes, alumni, and the general community were invited to attend the reception and dinner to honor two Oxnard College Athletic Alumni superstars, Randi Walters and Jeremiah Massey.
Randi Walters
Women's Soccer & Softball '06
Randi Walters was voted as the Western State Conference Player of the Year during her athletic career at Oxnard College and was also named first team All-Ventura County. During her time at Oxnard College, she was also a part of the college's inaugural softball team. Randi was recruited to play soccer at University of Hawaii-Hilo for her sophomore and junior year where she was 2nd team All PacWest conference selection. Randi then transferred to Colorado State University-Pueblo her senior year and was voted MVP by her teammates.
Jeremiah Massey
Men's Basketball '02
Jeremiah Massey earned the top scorer title during his two-year athletic career at Oxnard College. He was voted as the California State Junior College Player of the Year and was inducted into the Ventura County Hall of Fame in 2002. After Oxnard College Jeremiah continued his athletic career at Kansas State, where he was named the Big 12 conference newcomer of the year in 2004. Jeremiah was then drafted in 2005 and played professional basketball for European League Teams, Russian Professional Teams, and Greek Professional League teams including: Aris, Real Madrid, Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut, Al-Gharafa, Quimsa, and Ciclista Olimpico.
