Inaugural Hall of Fame

The OCAAA was proud to honor Debra Sharp and Jerry White as two cornerstones of the Oxnard College Athletic program.

Debra embodied what the Condor Family is all about.  Not only did she claim the WSC Championship, while being named OC Scholar Athlete of the Year, she raised a CCCAA State Champion, Aaron Sharp.  Additionally, Debra assisted her husband Geno during his long tenure (1998-2013) as the OC Head Men's and Women's XC Coach.  Since 2014, Aaron has successfully guided the XC program until this day.

Jerry White "...is an Oxnard guy".  As a star athlete at Oxnard HS, a champion coach to many sitting at the event, to an innovative administrator, and now the WSC Commissioner, Jerry created a special place here at Oxnard College Athletics.  The record number of wins and special facility improvements, pale in comparison to the number of young men and women who have benefited from Jerry's teaching and coaching.

The primary goal for the event was to rekindle a connection with Oxnard College and to provide an opportunity to reconnect with former teammates, coaches, and alumni. Based on the terrific feedback, the event did just that: For photos click here
